Describe your experiences with an "Unconference" such as this one?The unconference approach is an opportunity to truly network collaboratively with like-minds and also connect with individuals that bring a new and different perspective to the world of teaching and learning. The heart of the "courageous conversations" that take place during an unconference is personal and professional, while sharing experiences through varied communication modalities in a given day. Robust communication channels that will enrich the day of learning include backchannel chats, face-to-face conversations, live video streams, texting, QRCodes, Flickr photos, Twitter streams, Facebook posts, live blogging, and interactive workshop sessions.
If you were going to dream big for schools/teaching what would your dream be?My dream would be to provide schools with a robust instructional PBL scope and sequence passage of training and implementation, to meet the differentiated learning needs of our 21st century educators and students, while providing an architectural designed learning space that is environmentally astatic and scensory driven. I would also provided everyone with the book "The Third Teacher" http://www.thethirdteacher.com to provided a solid foundation of how and why the new creative and collaborative design of a learning space can inspire life long learning.

Favorite quote, tagline, or saying, or brief bioI try to make a difference in the life of every child, every day by participating in professional collaboration with other educators to effectively support technology integration across the curriculum.
What is your current role in the education world?I teach technology in a 7th and 8th grade junior high school. I also support the teachers I work with by showing them new technology tools, making suggestions how they can use the tools in their curriculum, and supporting them when they get "stuck."
Describe your experiences with an "Unconference" such as this one? This is my first unconference.
If you were going to dream big for schools/teaching what would your dream be?Unlimited bandwidth, no web filtering (the teachers should be the filter!), and a handheld device for EVERY child.
Do you have a website or blog?

Describe your experiences with an "Unconference" such as this one?EduBloggerCon ISTE 2010 I wasn't sure what to expect. I came wanting to meet many of my PLN from twitter, face-to-face. My favorite part of the day was the Web 2.0 Smackdown. Awesome.
What topics/themes are you hoping to discuss at EdCampChallenged Based Learning with mobile devices (we are getting several classrooms of 1:1 iPads).
If you were going to dream big for schools/teaching what would your dream be?My dream for schools comes from Chris Lehmann...and I quote him, "We have a goal -- 100,000 students writing their declarations of education. Can you imagine? 100,000 students all telling the adults: "This is how we learn best. This is what we need from our schools. This is what we need." We want the students to consider some essential questions about schools and learning: When and where do I learn best? What does an ideal learning environment look like? How closely do our current places of learning resemble our ideal learning environment? What barriers to learning/growth exist within our current learning environments? What will we do to make our current learning environments more perfect places to work and learn? So what can we, the adults, do?"

What is your current role in the education world?I am fourth grade teacher trying to change the world one student at a time.
Describe your experiences with an "Unconference" such as this one?I have never been to one, only jealously watched tweets from them, I am so thrilled to be going to one.
What topics/themes are you hoping to discuss at EdCampI might be too shy to lead something but I sure hope there will be discussion of how we can implement student-led learning, perhaps no rewards/no grades and maybe even how to get others to integrate tech.
If you were going to dream big for schools/teaching what would your dream be?That grades, homework, and rewards would be thrown out. Classroom wall would be torn down to encourage collaboration and teachers would actually trust each other rather than compete.
