Tips for a Successful EdCamp Experience -- Tip #1
Yesterday, we introduced Edcamp Chicago Organizer, Erin Jackle and reminded you to check out the Session Ideas doc. Today Erin is here to tell you a little bit more about how sessions are planned for an Edcamp!
When you arrive at EdCamp Chicago, we will have an empty session board waiting to be filled with what you want to share and learn. Wondering about how to blog with elementary students? Put it on the session board! Are you an expert at using Evernote? Put it on the session board! Hoping to talk about what Common Core will mean for your students? Put it on the session board!
What it all boils down to is: Bring your ideas! There are no rules when it comes to presenting at EdCamp Chicago -- you decide what you want to share and learn more about. This why we need your ideas! Be thinking ahead of time about what you’d like to learn more about and what you could possibly share. You can add your ideas to our Google Doc here! For inspiration, you can also visit the 2012 Edcamp Chicago session schedule or the 2011 Edcamp Chicago Session Ideas doc.
EdCamp Chicago is all about participants deciding what they want to learn and share, so bring your ideas with you and let’s get learning!
